Job summary

Meridian Compass fzco in Dubai seeks an experienced HSQE Manager to build and operate the company’s Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management system. You will act as Designated Person Ashore (DPA) and Company Security Officer (CSO), aiming to secure the ISM Document of Compliance (DOC) and the Vessel's Safety Management Certificate (SMC), and keep oil majors’ approvals intact.

Qualifications

• Clear written English with strong report-writing ability.
• Experience in HSQE, maritime safety and audits.
• Willing to travel to vessels and attend audits on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain SMS to meet ISM Code, ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 where applicable.
• Lead ISM DOC audits with Flag/Class and vessel SMC audits.
• Act as DPA under ISM Code and CSO under ISPS Code.
