Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor, maintain, and continually improve the integrated management system based on ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISM Code, ISPS, and MLC requirements.
  2. Ensure quality compliance with industry and customer requirements.
  3. Build channels of communication with employees to discuss HSE matters, such as verbal contracts and formal meetings.
  4. Ensure that first aid provisions are appropriate to the hazards and risks involved and are communicated to all employees.
  5. Record and report all injury accidents to the HSEQ Manager.
  6. Ensure all activities are covered by safe systems of working, periodically reviewing each system for accuracy and content.
  7. Provide general oversight of all company quality-related matters.
  8. Outline the strategy for the company’s Quality Program.
  9. Implement quality policies and programs.
  10. Validate quality requirements at the time of bidding projects and at the time of project award.
  11. Promote a quality culture for continuous improvement.
  12. Control and maintain company IMS documentation.
  13. Communicate changes about the IMS documentation to the relevant parties.
  14. Periodically review HSEQ-related documents and coordinate with other departments for review and updating IMS documents.

Competency Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. NEBOSH – IGC
  3. Internal/Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & ISM Code)
  4. Train the Trainer
  5. Incident Investigation Training
  6. Risk Assessment Course
  7. Knowledge of ISM / ISPS / MLC & Maritime industry

Experience:

Minimum 3 years operational experience in a similar function/position. Must have held an appropriate background in marine/port/offshore operations or equivalent.
