Job Description
We are seeking a committed HSE Specialist to develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental programs in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe workplace by conducting risk assessments, training sessions, and inspections. A deep knowledge of HSE practices and a proactive approach to risk management are essential.
Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor the HSE management system.
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Develop safety training programs and deliver HSE training sessions.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with local laws and company policies.
Maintain up-to-date HSE documentation and records.
Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
Assist in preparing emergency response plans.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure necessary certifications.
Generate detailed HSE reports for senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field.
3 5 years of HSE experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
Certification in NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent.
In-depth understanding of local and international HSE regulations.
Excellent organizational and report-writing skills.
Ability to conduct training and safety awareness programs.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Good communication and leadership skills.
