The Key Objectives For This Role Are

  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards
  • Identify and assess potential hazards and implement risk mitigation measures
  • Foster a workplace culture prioritizing health, safety, and environmental responsibility
  • Conduct training sessions to raise awareness and promote safe practices
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to determine causes and prevent recurrence
  • Monitor and improve HSE policies, procedures, and practices

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for workplace safety
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide HSE training and guidance to employees
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and legislation
  • Maintain reports on HSE performance and incidents
  • Lead investigations into HSE incidents with detailed reports and recommendations
  • Collaborate across departments to integrate HSE considerations into operations
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes
