Job summary

Weatherford seeks an HSE Advisor to support development and maintenance of Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and programs across the organization. The role ensures regulatory compliance and promotes a proactive safety culture with training, incident investigations, and performance monitoring.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in a related field, at least five years of HSE experience, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive continuous improvement and safe operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant industry or regulatory experience.
• Experience conducting HSE audits and inspections.
• Proven track record in implementing and maintaining HSE management systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Security, Compliance, and HSE policies and with local and international regulations and standards.
• Promote a strong safety culture and core organizational values.
• Deliver HSE training to employees on emergency response, PPE use, and hazardous materials handling.
• Conduct and support incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on HSE performance metrics and identify improvement actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE management systems and training materials.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments for compliance and hazards.
• Collaborate with operations to integrate HSE into daily activities.
• Communicate clear reports and updates to all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrate leadership and engage workforce to reinforce safety behaviors.
• Manage HSE-related budgets and ensure policy compliance.
• Pursue continuous professional development through required training and certifications.
