Job Description:

HSE Officer (UAE National)
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Parsons is looking for a talented HSE Officer (UAE National) to join our team! In this role, you will liaise with the Safety Manager and Contractors to improve and implement Corporate HSE Management practices.

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Implement Parsons HSE Policy, HSE Plan, and comply with HSE legislation and other requirements.
  2. Monitor HSE performance and targets, suggesting measures for improvement.
  3. Liaise with Safety Manager and Contractors to enhance HSE management ethics.
  4. Monitor contractors to ensure safety measures and best practices are implemented.
  5. Review Hazard Analysis / Risk Assessment Plans for key activities, monitor hazard control measures, and conduct HSE site visits with reports for immediate rectification.
  6. Review and monitor contractors' monthly HSE inspections and reports.
  7. Conduct monthly safety meetings, set targets to address issues, and share minutes for follow-up.
  8. Review emergency preparedness, permit systems, toolbox talks, HSE meetings, and records according to company standards.
  9. Review incident/accident investigation reports, communicate learnings, and monitor corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
  10. Perform other related responsibilities as appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Recognized Health and Safety certifications or training in UAE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHAD - Qudorat, First Aid, Fire Safety).
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Experience in an engineering consulting firm is preferred.
  • Experience in the UAE and a valid driving license are advantageous.
