POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Assistant Marketing Manager is the voice of the hotel, responsible for assisting and executing all Marketing, PR, and Social media projects and initiatives. The role includes updating and maintaining all customer-related sites for The St Regis Abu Dhabi as requested by the Director of Marketing. The candidate must manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate effectively with internal teams, external clients, and guests.

The Assistant Marketing Manager will provide Marketing & Communications support within the area & media community, working as a key member of the Marketing team. Responsibilities include managing and facilitating the implementation of the PR Strategy for Marriott International properties, assisting with day-to-day press office and administration tasks, and ensuring that communication objectives are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Research and identify collateral needed to support the sales process, including copywriting for hotel brochures.
  • Assist with developing and implementing Communications support strategies, producing individual PR plans for the hotel.
  • Respond to media inquiries and information requests for The St Regis Abu Dhabi.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Marriott’s international PR network to facilitate promotion of properties worldwide.
  • Coordinate and host incoming international media visits to the hotel.
  • Assist in leading “conversation culture” with the Marketing Coordinator across the hotel team.
  • Take responsibility for creating a monthly newsletter, including article generation, copywriting, and layout decisions.
  • Maintain positive online resort presence by managing website and social media pages.
  • Post creative and engaging content daily for all social media channels.
  • Manage Local Property Sites and ensure Brand Standards compliance.
  • Update key digital platforms and implement best practices to deliver increased presence and revenue to hotels.
  • Motivate associates to embrace Social Media and enhance local initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
