Ensure all project contractors comply with applicable legislation, statutory requirements, and the company's objectives, policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
Review and implement HSE plans, procedures, method statements, risk assessments, and related documentation on-site.
Conduct regular inspections of project and maintenance activities, and investigate incidents in accordance with legal requirements.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of local regulations, including Dubai Municipality and JAFZA Code of Practices.
Monitor project activities to ensure alignment with the HSE plan and procedures.
Develop and implement HSE intervention plans, including safety inspection tours within project work areas.
Identify potential hazards, recommend solutions, conduct audits, and participate in HSE meetings.
Enforce strict adherence to the Permit to Work System across all projects.
Ensure the availability and proper functioning of safety equipment.
Attend weekly/monthly project meetings, ensuring timely collection and updating of all project-related reports and documents.
Issue improvement and prohibition notices to contractors, establish recommendations and corrective actions, and follow up on their completion.
