Job summary

Job Summary:

Al Barakah Holding is hiring a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across our sites in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must hold valid NEBOSH and IOSH certifications and have a strong background in enforcing workplace safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with UAE regulations and company standards.
Conduct routine inspections and risk assessments to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and induction programs to staff and subcontractors.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure the correct use and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on-site.
Maintain and update all HSE documentation, including inspection logs, safety permits, and training records.
Liaise with authorities and internal departments to ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
NEBOSH International General Certificate Mandatory
IOSH Managing Safely Certification Mandatory
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in facility management, construction, or industrial sectors.
Strong understanding of UAE HSE regulations and best practices.
Good command of English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
