Job summary

LEADING OIL AND GAS ABUDHABI is seeking a Site Safety Inspector to conduct daily site inspections, monitor PTW for high‑risk tasks, and enforce safety controls across civil, pipeline, and soil‑disturbance work.

You will lead toolbox talks, assist in JSAs and HIRA, investigate near misses, document CAPAs, and ensure compliance with UAE laws and ADNOC HSE standards, emergency drills, and first‑aid readiness.

Responsibilities

• Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct daily and weekly safety inspections of construction, excavation, and pipelaying/soil-disturbance work areas to identify unsafe acts or conditions.
• Permit to Work (PTW): Monitor and manage PTW systems, particularly for high-risk operations like hot work, confined space entry, working at height, and heavy lifting.
• Risk Assessments & JSAs: Assist in preparing and enforcing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Hazard Identification (HAZID), and Risk Assessments (HIRA) tailored to soil, civil, and pipeline construction.
• Toolbox Talks & Training: Lead daily safety briefings, pre-start meetings, HSE inductions, and specialized safety awareness sessions for site workers.
• Incident Reporting: Investigate near-misses, accidents, and injuries, document root causes, and submit corrective/preventive action reports (CAPA).
• Regulatory & Client Compliance: Ensure adherence to UAE Federal Labor Laws, local municipal guidelines (e.g., Dubai Municipality / Trakhees SARS where applicable), and specific client/ADNOC HSE standards.
• Emergency Preparedness: Support emergency drills, fire warden duties, heat-stress monitoring (crucial for UAE summer work), and first-aid response readiness.
