Job summary

A reputable construction company in Dubai seeks a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer. This role involves developing and maintaining HSE policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in HSE, preferably in construction or oil & gas. NEBOSH or OSHA certifications are preferred. The position requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment while ensuring compliance with local and international HSE regulations.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions
  • Provide HSE training and education to employees at all levels of the organization
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards
  • Prepare and maintain HSE reports, documentation, and records
  • Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging HSE trends

Qualifications
