Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE professional to lead and support the development, implementation, and continual improvement of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems across our operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in integrated management systems and business continuity management (BCM), with strong qualifications and a proactive approach to ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE management systems in line with legal requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Deliver HSE training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.
  • Monitor and report on HSE KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement across all areas.
  • Coordinate and support emergency preparedness and response plans, including Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities.
  • Liaise with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and certification agencies as needed.
  • Foster a strong safety culture and promote employee engagement in health and safety initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the development and implementation of EHS and integrated management systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • NEBOSH International Diploma (Level 6) or equivalent HSE qualification is required.
  • Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
  • Experience or strong familiarity with Business Continuity Management (BCM) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of local HSE regulations and international standards.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
