Job summary

Star Services in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced HSE Officer to ensure safety compliance, conduct risk assessments, and drive proactive hazard controls in the oil and gas sector.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or equivalent, NEBOSH certification, and 5–8 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in Oil & Gas. Training delivery and incident investigations are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical) or equivalent qualification.
• NEBOSH Certification is mandatory.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years as an HSE Officer in Oil & Gas.

• Develop and enforce comprehensive safety policies, deliver engaging training programs, and lead thorough incident investigations to enhance workplace safety and foster a culture of risk prevention.
• Comprehensive Knowledge of All Types of Fire Extinguishers – Both Mobile and Fixed Systems.
• Proficient in Working within H2S Environments and Implementing Associated Emergency Response Plans.
