Job description

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

* Implement and monitor HSE management programs, processes, practices, and emergency preparedness, disaster response, and business continuity plans aligned with international best practices, in coordination with relevant department heads.
* Ensure all incidents related to Security and HSE (including incidents, accidents, near misses, potential civil claims, and workman’s compensation claims) are promptly reported, escalated, investigated, and resolved as per policies defined by Corporate Group Asset Protection and Group Risk Management.
* Analyze incident and accident data to identify root causes, emerging threats, and problematic areas. Present consolidated findings with recommendations for effective mitigation, using a cost-efficient combination of physical, electronic, and procedural controls.
* Implement the corporate HSE framework to regularly review and evaluate occupational health and safety programs across all ATM sites, ensuring identification and prompt resolution of compliance gaps and HSE risks.
* Ensure physical security systems, processes, and procedures comply with company policy and are effectively used to mitigate operational risks in key business activities.
* Conduct regular reviews and audits for both Security and Health & Safety compliance in line with company policies.
* Facilitate approved on-site training sessions to enhance employee awareness and effectiveness in HSE practices.
* Investigate security and safety breaches in a timely manner; prepare detailed investigation reports with findings and recommendations.
* Supervise all third-party security providers across ATM sites; liaise with Group Asset Protection on issues of performance, improvements, and non-compliance with contractual obligations and SLAs.
* Ensure proper controls and consistent maintenance of all security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, traffic control systems).
* Manage and oversee the enterprise-wide access control system, ensuring access profiles are properly administered and breaches are promptly investigated and escalated.
* Monitor inventory transfer processes between distribution centres and depots to validate transfer accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
* Liaise with the Corporate Asset Protection Department, ensuring full compliance with the Corporate Asset Protection Policy and timely provision of related information.

Education / Certification & Continued Education

* Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
* Professional certification in Loss Prevention, Security Management, and Health & Safety.
* Certified ISO Auditor/Implementer for any of the following standards:
+ ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
+ ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
+ ISO 28001 (Security Management Systems for the Supply Chain)
+ ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management)

Years of Experience

* 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and Security Management, preferably within large commercial establishments.
* Proven experience in the implementation of ISO standards.
