Job summary

HR Engine is recruiting for an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental activities for an ADNOC onshore EPC project in Abu Dhabi. You will support project management and site teams to uphold HSE standards in line with ADNOC requirements.

The role requires strong HSE leadership on major construction projects, rigorous risk management, and the ability to coordinate with contractors and client representatives. Arabic language is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in HSE management within Oil & Gas or EPC.
• Prior ADNOC project experience is mandatory.
• Experience in multidisciplinary EPC project environments.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent required.
• ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH CSP or equivalent advanced HSE qualifications advantageous.
• ADNOC approval as an HSE Manager is a strong advantage.
• Arabic speaking is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate HSE activities across the project.
• Support implementation and maintenance of project HSE plans, procedures and requirements.
• Monitor compliance with HSE standards and ADNOC requirements.
• Coordinate with project management, construction teams, subcontractors and other project functions on HSE matters.
• Support the identification, assessment and management of project HSE risks.
• Participate in HSE reviews, inspections, audits and project meetings as required.
• Monitor HSE performance and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Support incident investigation and follow-up of corrective actions where required.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project team and contractors.
• Maintain appropriate HSE reporting and documentation.

Our client, an EPC contractor working on an ADNOC onshore project, is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead and coordinate Health, Safety and Environment activities for the project.

The role will support project management and site teams in maintaining effective HSE standards throughout project execution and ensuring compliance with applicable project and ADNOC requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in HSE management within Oil & Gas, EPC or major construction projects.


• Previous ADNOC project experience is mandatory.


• Experience working within multidisciplinary EPC project environments.


• Strong understanding of project HSE management and site safety requirements.


• Ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors and client representatives.


• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent is required.


• ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification is highly preferred.


• NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH professional membership, CSP or equivalent advanced HSE qualifications will be considered an advantage.


• Previous ADNOC approval as an HSE Manager will be considered a strong advantage.


• Arabic speaking is mandatory.

Candidate Profile

• The ideal candidate will be an experienced HSE professional with a strong background in Oil & Gas EPC projects, previous ADNOC experience, and the ability to lead HSE activities across a complex project environment.
