Overview

The Role is to join an international contractor working offshore on the construction / expansion of oil & gas facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) to ensure compliance with local and international regulations, client requirements, and company policies on this offshore oil and gas project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a proactive HSE culture across all offshore operations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation planning.
• Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive action implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Level 6 OHS qualification
• 10 + years experience in HSE management within the offshore oil and gas sector.
• In-depth knowledge of offshore HSE regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
