Developing, implementing, reviewing, and continual improvement of organization HSE management systems and standards.
Provide guidance and expertise to all levels of the business on matters relating to health, safety and environment compliance.
Implementation, certification and maintenance of the organization IMS, complying with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 45001 standards.
Take ownership for all HSE initiatives and manage all HSE actions in conjunction with divisional owners.
Implement all necessary actions to meet the HSE objectives and compliance program.
Liaise with other managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the HSE management system is functioning properly.
Conducting HSE compliance audits.
Monitor and report results of the compliance efforts of the organization.
Compliance of all HSE regulatory and legislative requirements and identify areas of HSE excellence.
Interface with regulatory agencies.
Ensure that adequate Health & Safety training is provided to all employees.
Ensure accident and incident reports are investigated and corrective actions taken.
Encourage a positive Health & Safety culture across all departments.
Evaluate risks & incidents and identify areas where costs and loss can be improved.
Conduct Safety and Health inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
Documenting and the continual maintenance of business HSE Output and performance measures.
