Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines for site operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
  2. Lead HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.
  3. Provide leadership and guidance to HSE teams, fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
  4. Conduct investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
  5. Collaborate with project management and subcontractors to address HSE concerns and align with project objectives.
  6. Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics, preparing reports for management review and continuous improvement.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in HSE management, incorporating relevant updates into policies and procedures.
  8. Represent the company in meetings with clients, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and expertise in HSE matters.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in HSE management, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
  • At least 5 years in a senior/managerial role.
  • Level 6 diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in DM and ADOSH (Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health System Framework).
  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification.
  • Strong personality with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in building and infrastructure construction projects is essential.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
  • Must be currently residing in the UAE and available for face-to-face interviews.
