AtkinsRalis is seeking a HSE Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities

1. Implement AtkinsRalis internal HSE management system requirements on site.
2. Ensure project HSE compliance and enforce it within the AtkinsRalis team.
3. Monitor staff adherence to safety standards and report violations to the Project Manager.
4. Assess and report on Contractor and Subcontractors' HSE compliance.
5. Highlight critical safety issues to the AtkinsRalis Project Manager promptly.
6. Conduct safety training sessions for staff.
7. Perform daily site HSE tours and document findings.
8. Issue Safety Enforcement Notices as per procedures.
9. Follow up on HSE issues with Contractors to ensure resolution.
10. Review and advise on Contractors' HSE Plans, risk assessments, and work method statements.
11. Develop and update HSE documentation, including safety files and risk assessments.
12. Investigate accidents and incidents involving AtkinsRalis staff.
13. Compile safety reports and incident statistics.
14. Lead weekly safety meetings and issue MOMs.
15. Maintain HSE registers and report accidents immediately.
16. Coordinate with AtkinsRalis KSA HSE Manager for advice and major issues.

Qualifications & Certification

• Minimum NEBOSH Diploma/IGC in HSE.
• Lead auditor course in ISO45001 and ISO14001.
• Membership from IIRSM/IOSH preferred.

Behavioral Competencies

• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently or lead a small team.

Experience Requirements

• Experience in site supervision or consulting.
• Mandatory Middle East experience.
