We are seeking three qualified HSE Engineers / Officers to ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site. The ideal candidates will hold an Engineering Degree and NEBOSH certification, demonstrating a solid foundation in safety management practices and risk mitigation. The role involves identifying hazards, developing safety protocols, conducting training, and promoting a culture of safety across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and develop preventive measures.
  • Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to management, highlighting trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct safety inductions, training sessions, and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all necessary permits and certifications are up to date.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture among all employees through communication and engagement.
  • Support emergency response planning and participate in drills and investigations.
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, inspections, and incidents.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
  • NEBOSH General Certificate is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in HSE roles within construction, manufacturing or relevant industries.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE laws and standards.
  • Proficient in conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient with MS Office and HSE management software.
