Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Identify potential workplace hazards and develop strategies to mitigate associated risks.
  • Provide training and educational programs to employees on safety practices and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of health, safety, and environmental incidents and investigations.
  • Collaborate with department managers to enhance safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Ensure that the workplace complies with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Advise management on upcoming changes in legislation and advise on required updates.
  • Monitor contractor safety performance and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports related to safety and environmental metrics.
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness within the organization.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HSE engineering or related role.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve safety and environmental goals.
