Job summary

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of HSE Engineer in Dubai, UAE. Our client is seeking skilled and motivated professionals with strong knowledge of workplace health, safety, environmental compliance, risk management, and accident-prevention practices. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety and Environment procedures across assigned operations.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, hazard identification, and comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Ensure work activities comply with approved HSE policies, procedures, and applicable safety regulations.
  • Monitor permit-to-work activities and verify appropriate control measures before high-risk work begins.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, awareness sessions, and HSE training for employees and contractors.
  • Maintain HSE inspection records, incident reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
  • Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, audits, and continuous improvement of safety performance.
Required Skills

HSE Management: Ability to implement and monitor occupational health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Risk Assessment: Strong capability in identifying hazards, evaluating risks, and recommending suitable control measures.

Safety Auditing: Ability to conduct inspections and audits and document compliance observations.

Incident Investigation: Knowledge of root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes.

HSE Compliance: Understanding of workplace safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and safe operating practices.

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of international occupational safety practices.
  • Experience conducting toolbox talks and safety training.
  • Familiarity with emergency response and environmental management procedures.
Work Experience Requirements
