Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified HSE Engineer with ADNOC approval to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The HSE Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with ADNOC regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE management systems in accordance with ADNOC requirements.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with relevant HSE regulations and standards.
  3. Support project teams in conducting risk assessments, preparing method statements, and implementing appropriate control measures to mitigate risks.
  4. Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective and preventive action plans to address HSE-related incidents and near misses.
  5. Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams on HSE-related matters, including safe work practices, emergency response procedures, and environmental protection measures.
  6. Monitor and track HSE performance indicators, compile statistical data, and prepare reports for management review and regulatory compliance.
  7. Assist in the coordination of HSE training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to promote a culture of safety among employees and contractors.
  8. Collaborate with regulatory authorities, industry organizations, and stakeholders to stay abreast of new regulations, standards, and best practices in HSE management.
  9. Support the HSE Manager in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HSE performance, efficiency, and effectiveness across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the oil and gas industry.
  • ADNOC HSE approval is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of ADNOC regulations, standards, and requirements.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and HSE management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HSE management software.
