Job description

Title: HSE Engineer

The HSE Engineer is responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure employee and departmental safety. Key responsibilities include:

1. Creating incident reports and conducting inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
2. Interacting with service personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
3. Organizing and determining the requirements for audits of company-operated properties.
4. Staying informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards.
5. Assisting in the development and implementation of systems and standards to capture and analyze HSE statistics.

Under general supervision, and occasionally under direct supervision, performs assignments that require experience and knowledge of standard concepts within the field. Demonstrates core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.

Skills required for this role are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree and at least 2 years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
