Job Title: HSE Engineer
Work Location: Abu Dhabi

With occasional visit to offshore as per the work requirements.
Leave Cycle: 150/30 (for single status) - single status accommodation provided
335/30 (for family status) - Family status is subject to the approval of Management after successful completion of probation period.

Working Hours:
Abu Dhabi: 07:00 to 15:00 (5-days a week)
Offshore: 06:30 to 18:30 (7-days a week)

Qualification (minimum) & Certification:
Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical), Health, Safety or Environmental Sciences or an equivalent qualification.
NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate)
IOSH/OSHA certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
ISO 45001 Certified Internal Auditor.
Additional HSE Trainings/Certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience (minimum):
5-8 years relevant experience is required.
Minimum 5 years in Oil & Gas industry as a HSE Engineer.
Preference for candidates who have experience in ADNOC group of companies.

Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
Develop and ensure that the company HSEMS framework fulfills the requirements of ADNOC HSE standards.
Ensure training resources are available covering all topics in Company HSEMS Framework.
Responsible for implementing Company HSEMS Framework within the allocated resources.
Analyze, update, and implement the Company HSEMS Framework.
Develop and communicate a comprehensive internal procedure for implementing the requirements of company HSEMS Framework covering all employees and activities including those by the Contractors.
Compliance monitoring and assurance for all Contractors HSEMS implementation, in line with Company and ADNOC HSE Standards.
Participate, organize, and lead in monitoring the workplace through various HSE walk-throughs/inspections.
Lead and participate in HSEIA/HSE Studies and assure the studies outcomes are conducted in accordance with ADNOC standards for facilities (both existing and new) including projects.
Prepare and conduct HSE programs to enhance the HSE culture in the company such as Campaign/Awareness, etc.
Develop and implement the annual Training schedule for the company in accordance with company HSEMS Framework.
Develop annual HSEMS Audit plan and ensure it is conducted in accordance with Company/ADNOC HSE Standards.
Support in conducting Incident Investigation and review the report in line with Company/ADNOC HSE Standards.
Prepare trend analysis for all incident investigation reports and present them to the management for the close-out action and further improvement/input to HSEMS framework.
Monitor all safety-critical equipment maintained in accordance with the annual maintenance plan/OEM recommendations such as Lifeboat, life raft, SCBA, Fire Extinguishers, etc.
Management of Contractor HSE such as develop procedures for Contractor Management, evaluate the Contractor HSE Performance, conduct HSE Audits for Contractors, etc.
Develop procedures for Risk Management, recognition, risk evaluation and control, prepare drill plan and schedule for all emergency drills and exercises, experience of directing Management of Change (MOC) reviews.
