Job summary

Star Services LLC seeks an experienced HSE & Chemistry Manager for our Abu Dhabi power and desalination plant. The role leads health, safety, environmental and chemical programs, ensures compliance with UAE HSE laws, and drives audits, training and procedures to safeguard personnel and operations.

You will oversee budgeting, audits, and liaison with government authorities to minimize risk and elevate safety across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety or Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and/or Chemistry.
• NEBOSH or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE law and international safety standards.
• Experience implementing HSE systems in an industrial plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal and external HSE & Chemistry audits and programs.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and legislation.
• Coordinate training plans and updates for staff and contractors.
• Develop and monitor accident-prevention and loss-control systems.
