About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and people-oriented HR Specialist – Employee Relations to join our Human Resources team. This role will primarily focus on managing employee relations and providing support for HR operational activities (excluding payroll). Working closely with the HR Business Partner and Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a broad range of HR activities including employee onboarding, offboarding, lifecycle changes, and day-to-day employee relations matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee lifecycle activities such as pre-employment checks and coordinating on onboarding process for employees.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates of employee information in the HR system, including changes to role titles, reporting lines, and departmental movements.
  • Conduct regular visits to our office locations across the UAE to maintain employee engagement and provide on-site HR support.
  • Ensure HR policies & processes are clearly communicated and accessible to all operational level employees, including multilingual support where necessary.
  • Manage tasks related to GPSSA Pension, including registration and monthly contribution processing.
  • Proven ability to resolve issues with government authorities, including labor and immigration departments; experience in dispute resolution and follow-up is a strong advantage.
  • Prepare and coordinate documentation related to HR formalities for operational level employees.
  • Coordinating the offboarding process for operational level employees, ensuring compliance and smooth transition.
  • Provide guidance, support to employees & supervisors on HR policies, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
  • Conduct and support investigations related to employee grievances or behavioral matters in a confidential and impartial manner.
  • Assist in preparing and compiling the monthly board pack, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of HR-related data and updates.
  • Support in coordinating employee engagement & wellness activities.

About You

You are a business graduate/ University Degree holder with a minimum of 5–6 years of solid HR experience, ideally with hands-on exposure to managing operational staff in Retail or Warehouse settings. Strong understanding of UAE labor law, with familiarity across both mainland and free zone regulations. Knowledge of GCC labor laws is an added advantage. You have strong communication skills, ability to build trust at all levels, and independent approach to managing a fast-paced workload. A UAE driving license is essential for this role, and Arabic language skills would be an added advantage.
