Job opportunity - Vertiv is looking for a new HR Services Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

This role is responsible to carry out Recruitment, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Payroll and Administrative activities.

What kind of work will you be doing?

  • Recruitment : head hunting, CV screening, candidate screening, arranging interviews, issuing offer letters.
  • Employee onboarding, induction, employee data update in HCM.
  • Take HR lead role in the absence of HR Manager.
  • Preparing final settlement, exit interview and final exit.
  • Monthly meeting and employee grievance handling.
  • Monthly payroll calculation and processing.
  • Employee counselling and corrective actions.
  • Drafting and issuing official letters, office announcements and other communications.
  • In-charge of accommodation & company kitchen.
  • Update Clocking from TMS / Clocking Report / Holiday Forms / Weekly Timesheets / Absence Info / Early Leave Forms / Overtime Sheets.
  • Reports : Employees Absenteeism, OT report.
  • Assisting HR Manager in day today activities.
  • Ensure annual health checks are done for shop floor employees, kitchen staff and drivers.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies for campaigns / hiring.
  • Maintaining and updating employees’ electronic files and records.
  • Employee engagement; arranging team outing and team building activities.
  • Ensure the electricity consumption in accommodation is controlled / reduced through “One Room, One Shift” Policy.
  • Promote the use of recycled / one sided paper to reduce the consumption of paper.

What Would Be the Perfect Qualifications?

  • Graduate in any discipline with minimum 6 years of experience in HR Specialist role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing company dealing with both white collar and blue-collar employees.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Proactive, and open-minded personality, ability, and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • High level administrative and organizational skills.
  • Able to set priorities, accurate, communicative.
  • Result-oriented, dynamic.
