HR & Recruitment Manager - Six Senses Dubai

Hotel: Dubai The Palm (DXBDP), Plot number PJCRC08_200

As Human Resources & Recruitment Manager, I will support and assume responsibility for the efficient operation of the Human Resources department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. My key role will be to support the Director of Human Resources in the preparation and implementation of the hotel´s’ human resources plan including manpower plan, benefits and payroll budget, training and induction plans in line with needs and host engagement initiatives.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Director of Human Resources on recruitment, host ratios, succession planning, and individual development plans (IDP).
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the property’s human resources strategies, including talent acquisition, employer branding, social media, recruitment, and hiring plans.
  • Develop creative approaches to support the Talent Acquisition Roadmap in identifying and attracting qualified, diverse, active, and passive candidates for current and future opportunities.
  • Identify suitable internal/external systems and tools for referral generation, internet sourcing, multimedia advertising, social media, job fairs, university fairs, networking, community involvement/partnerships, and third-party assistance, while building relationships with universities and colleges.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, providing feedback, making recommendations, and assisting candidates through offer negotiations and acceptance.
  • Ensure outstanding candidate experiences throughout the interview, offer, and onboarding process.
  • Partner with business and HR leadership, hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop cost-effective recruitment plans that minimize time-to-fill, optimize fit and retention, and place top-quality, diverse candidates.
  • Ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and relevant; maintain confidential host files.
  • Network with local organizations (e.g., Hotel Association, peers) to source candidates for current or future openings.
  • Conduct periodic salary and benefit surveys and make recommendations to remain competitive and compliant with local statutes.
  • Prepare and submit legally required and confidential documentation related to the department.
  • Complete all corporate reporting requirements accurately.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Human Resources & Recruitment Manager, candidates should have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, preferably in Human Resources or Hospitality Management, and more than five years’ experience in a similar human resources role are required.

Technical skills include proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS systems. Excellent command of written and spoken English, with some knowledge of the local language and customs, is essential.

Previous Dubai work experience in a similar role is preferred.
