Job Title

HR Officer

Job Scope

The HR Officer is accountable for performing a wide range of human resources activities including but not limited to onboarding, exit interviews, payroll and employee database while ensuring a smooth operation at all times.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the logistics for new hire orientations and follow through the onboarding process until the completion of the probation period
  • Provide direction on HR policies and SOP’s to ensure rightful implementation
  • Liaise with the PRO on new visa issuance and visa renewals and update records
  • Liaise with the concerned department to book the flight ticket and hotel accommodation for new joiners
  • Partner with other departments such as Finance, Legal, IT and ensure shared organizational goals and objectives are achieved
  • Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
  • Compile and maintain employees’ physical and electronic files
  • Process payroll and assist with related documentation
  • Monitor employees’ attendance and ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and laws related to day-to-day management of employees reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Work closely with local HR/ Legal experts ensuring administrative and legal requirements are fulfilled and internal compliance is met
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Position Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR Management or any related field
