Job description

The HR Officer – Onboarding & Employee Relations is responsible for managing end-to-end onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a seamless employee experience, and promoting a positive work environment through effective employee relations practices. The role also supports compliance with UAE labor laws and internal HR policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Coordinate pre-employment processes including document collection, visa processing, medicals, and contracts.
  • Organize and deliver onboarding programs and orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Create employee profiles in HRMS and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Coordinate with IT, admin, and other departments for new joiner setup.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with new employees during probation period.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, grievances, and workplace concerns.
  • Facilitate resolution of employee issues in line with UAE labor law and company policy.
  • Support disciplinary and grievance procedures by preparing documentation and coordinating meetings.
  • Promote positive employee engagement and assist with employee satisfaction surveys and initiatives.
  • Maintain confidential records and reports related to employee relations cases.
  • Ensure all employee files are up to date and compliant with legal and internal audit requirements.
  • Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Assist in internal HR audits and labor inspections.
  • Maintain accurate HR metrics and prepare reports related to onboarding and employee relations.
