Job Purpose:
The job holder will develop and execute plans for building a strong employer brand and continuously search for talent. The incumbent will determine current headcount needs, produce forecasts, develop acquisition strategies and campaign plans, and lead employer branding initiatives. Additionally, they will manage the team to deliver quality and efficient talent acquisition solutions, improving the competitiveness and results of existing recruitment methods and practices.
Key Result Areas:
- Contribute to establishing a robust talent acquisition strategy by identifying critical success factors, benchmarking, and adopting best practices. Deliver best-in-class sourcing and marketing techniques to attract potential candidates.
- Provide subject matter expertise on all TA policies and processes, stay informed on employment regulations, and lead policy formulation related to talent attraction and acquisition.
- Implement the established strategy effectively, leading the talent acquisition team through the full cycle to ensure a talent pipeline.
- Manage the complete talent acquisition process—from forecasting hiring needs, prioritizing requests, sourcing, screening, to interviewing—to meet headcount targets and improve attraction campaigns and assessment methodologies.
- Oversee talent acquisition programs, resources, and infrastructure, focusing on sourcing talent from new pools aligned with market dynamics.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop talent acquisition solutions with hiring managers, and address challenges proactively.
- Promote best practices, share ideas internally and externally, and maintain relationships with stakeholders, educating them on market trends and evolving strategies.
- Lead employer branding activities to expand brand reach internally and externally, working with HR to foster a positive, performance-oriented culture and enhance the candidate experience.
- Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of candidate records, assessment data, and references in Taleo. Monitor recruitment metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
- Set and achieve departmental goals, providing ongoing support, guidance, and development to team members.
Job Context:
This role operates within talent acquisition practices but requires staying updated on factors affecting candidate attraction, sourcing, assessment tools, and selection processes.
Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience:
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or HR; CIPD certification is desirable.
- Accreditation in psychometrics and assessments.
Experience & Knowledge:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience leading talent acquisition strategies and managing services related to headcount budgets, global sourcing, assessment centers, and selection.
- Experience in large organizations, overseeing the selection of diverse roles.
- Experience in volume recruitment, supplier selection, and leading selection trips across Asia, Africa, and Europe, with willingness to travel.
