Job Purpose
Lead and manage a team of HR professionals to execute employee onboarding plans and lead the development of standards and optimisation of efficiencies in the mobilisation and onboarding of new hires for timely, consistent and smooth onboarding experience. The jobholder will be accountable for evaluating practices, monitoring performance and making improvements to deliver quality and efficient services to the business.
Job Context
- Job involves managing the team that is responsible for Onboarding employees of EKFC and joint ventures.
- Job involves co-ordination with HR functions to ensure onboarding and visa formalities and completed on time.
- He/she will be fully accountable for ensuring employee data is maintained and governed in accordance with company policy / processes and practises followed.
- He/ she will accept the responsibility and maintains confidentiality of employee data.
- He/ she will provide a business-based rationale for determining the necessity of incremental improvements.
Key Result Areas
- Create a positive and welcoming onboarding experience for new employees by developing and delivering onboarding program that is clear, concise, engaging, and informative so that the new employees feel supported and connected to the company.
- Develop and maintain an onboarding process that is aligned with the company's goals and culture, and that meets the needs of new employees.
- Facilitate onboarding sessions for new employees and identify and resolve any challenges that arise during the process.
- Make recommendations for improvements to the onboarding process and measure its effectiveness to ensure that new employees are onboarded in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide support and guidance to new employees as they transition into their roles and track their progress to identify any areas where they may need additional support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as hiring managers and Learning & Development department, and coordinate with other departments to ensure that new employees have access to the resources they need.
- Gather and analyse data to measure and report the effectiveness of the onboarding through KPIs and scorecards, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and manage a team of HR professionals by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement of service level agreements with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience and Knowledge
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar Human Resource role within an on-boarding and mobilisation team, preferably in a large organisation.
