Charterhouse is working with an FMCG organisation that is looking to hire an HR Manager to join their dynamic team. This role will act as a partner to the business, drive key HR initiatives, and support operations and organizational growth. The ideal candidate will have HR leadership experience within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
About the role
The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and executing core HR functions including recruitment, compensation and benefits, compliance, employee relations, and learning and development. This role will manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes, build a strong talent pipeline across various departments, and oversee onboarding to ensure a seamless integration for new hires. The HR Manager will collaborate closely with Finance to oversee payroll and manage compensation and benefits.
Additionally, the HR Manager will ensure all HR operations are compliant with UAE labour laws, maintain accurate employee records and systems, and report to the HR Director. This position will play a key role in driving employee engagement initiatives, resolving conflicts professionally, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The role will also support leadership development through training programs, succession planning, and performance management frameworks to promote long-term capability and retention within the business.
About you
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity within the FMCG or manufacturing sector. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is essential, while a Master's degree or HR certifications (e.g., CIPD) are preferable.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE labour law and HR best practices, demonstrated experience with HRIS platforms (SAP preferred), and proficiency in Microsoft Office. They will be a confident communicator and collaborative leader capable of building trust across all levels of the organization. The candidate should be proactive, solution-oriented, and skilled in managing a broad range of HR responsibilities with discretion and professionalism.
