Description:
- Deliver a proactive and responsive HR service to Partners, Directors, and staff within the area of responsibility.
- Manage the operational HC service for the business, working with finance and other regional IFS groups.
- Manage the HC administrators/officers to ensure operational support is delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Manage C&B processes, including annual performance appraisal, merit, and incentive cycles. Ensure fair and competitive positioning of salaries through internal equity and external market analysis.
- Manage staffing, ensuring the quality of personnel hired and the effectiveness of recruiting and selection techniques.
- Work with line management and L&D Manager to identify T&D needs and develop/implement necessary initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Advise Country leadership on reward, performance management, implementation of regional and local L&E, employee relations, recruitment, and induction.
- Manage the delivery of these areas in the context of the Middle East HC and business strategy, utilizing regional HC support and systems, as well as local HC administrator/officer support.
- Develop, facilitate, and maintain a development culture by advising line managers (Team Leaders, Directors, Partners) in performance management, coaching in feedback and appraisal skills, and delivering ongoing people management processes.
- Encourage and coach Partners, Directors, and staff to use the PwC Development framework to build PwC Experience skills and culture.
- Collaborate with local leadership to attract, induct, and retain high-quality graduate and experienced hires, supporting growth ambitions.
- Foster a positive people environment in the Abu Dhabi office in partnership with the PwC Experience team and local leadership.
Qualifications and Experience:
The jobholder should be professionally qualified (e.g., HR Masters, UK CIPD, or equivalent) with demonstrated experience in:
- Understanding the business and influencing HC and people objectives.
- Broad HR policy and legal experience.
- Consulting and relationship management skills.
- Credibility to work with senior leadership.
- Aligning business priorities with people strategies and actions.
