Job Description:

Our Client is a well-known School in Abu Dhabi. They are hiring an HR Manager who will support the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks, ensuring the smooth functioning of HR processes. This role involves coordinating recruitment activities, maintaining employee records, and assisting with employee relations and engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in organizing training and development programs.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.
  • Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Managerial Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the HR department.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an HR role within an educational organization (Schools).
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of the British curriculum is a plus.
