Responsible for leading a diverse team in a central unit set up to ensure effective recruitment, talent development, operational efficiency across HR services delivered among all branches in UAE, and compensation & benefits strategies that align with organizational goals, in coordination with the Group Compensation and Benefits Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

HR services - Factory Operational accountability

  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle of the factory from sourcing to evaluating of the new hires in coordination with the talent acquisition officer.
  • Oversee the implementation of the performance management system at the factory level in coordination with the talent management team.
  • Monitor and maintain the right service level of HR services in the factory operations including health & safety, public relations, environmental monitoring, and compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Oversee HR system and technologies including ERP transformation per the project plan and its integration in local HR services.

Talent Acquisition

  • Implement talent acquisition strategy in collaboration with the Group Talent Acquisition Specialist, from talent attraction to onboarding, including employer branding activities.
  • Maintain relationships with hiring managers to meet their recruitment needs efficiently.
  • Oversee recruitment reports with group KPIs.

Talent Management

  • Coordinate with the Group and local talent management teams on talent development initiatives, leadership programs, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Promote a culture of learning and growth within the workforce.
  • Assist with change management during organizational transformations.

Strategic Total Rewards

  • Maintain and update the company's salary scale to ensure fairness and competitiveness.
  • Lead annual salary reviews and bonus exercises.
  • Manage payroll coordination with accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare job descriptions, conduct job evaluations, and recommend salary packages.
  • Research labor market benchmarks and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Manage medical insurance renewals and negotiations.
  • Handle employee separation payments accurately.
  • Propose and implement a suitable compensation philosophy aligned with market trends and organizational culture.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain employee files and prepare periodic HR reports for management review.

Procedural and Compliance Areas

  • Develop and manage departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; Master’s or HR certification is a plus.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar role, with 2+ years in team management.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, latest trends in total rewards, HRIS, and UAE Labour Law.
