Responsibilities

Independent is for all ambitious individuals who want to advance their careers. We are currently looking to hire an experienced Onboarding Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team at our Head Office in Tecom, Dubai. Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:

  1. Facilitating the end-to-end onboarding process for new colleagues, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.
  2. Preparing and maintaining all necessary onboarding documentation, including employment contracts, offer letters, and other legal documents.
  3. Coordinating with various departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of onboarding activities, such as IT setup, system access, and office space arrangements.
  4. Guiding new hires through paperwork and ensuring all required documents are submitted and recorded properly.
  5. Responding to employee inquiries related to onboarding processes and HR policies, providing guidance and support.
  6. Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance onboarding efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Maintaining accurate records of onboarding activities, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  8. Supporting other HR-related activities as required.

Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience in effective onboarding, including successful bulk onboarding of new colleagues.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Ability to establish and cultivate strong relationships with peers at various organizational levels and externally.
  • Proficiency in using tools to maintain trackers and manage onboarding data.
