Job description

We are currently seeking an HR Director for a client in the events industry based in Dubai.

The HR Director will be responsible for establishing HR as a strategic partner to the leadership team, contributing to the organization's growth by managing all aspects of people management and development.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing HR team.
  • Apply best HR practices across the organization.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape company culture.
  • Evaluate and adapt human resources strategies to position the company as an employer of choice in local and regional markets.
  • Drive talent acquisition and build effective talent pipelines.
  • Support UAE Government policies to increase employment of UAE Nationals by creating and implementing attraction and retention initiatives.
  • Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes (e.g., MOHRE, GDRFA, GPSSA), and new HR technologies (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, talent management). Communicate relevant changes to the Managing Director and executive team.

Key Characteristics :

  • 15+ years of professional experience, with UAE and international experience preferred.
  • Expertise in HR strategy, policies, operations, recruitment, and team management.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and knowledge of labor laws and compliance.

The position offers a salary of up to 50K AED.
