Job description

HR Coordinator

Location: Paris (initially for a few weeks), then UAE

Duration: 12 months renewable

Rate: € negotiable

Contract type: Residential

Start date: ASAP

MAIN MISSIONS
  • Manage all human resources (HR) coordination activities for Pioneer Camp, ensuring alignment with project requirements and company policies.
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for project company personnel, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate workforce mobilization planning, recruitment, onboarding, and training to meet project demands.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, company standards, and H3SE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) policies.
KEY ACTIVITIES
  • Promote a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture by ensuring all HR activities are performed safely and in compliance with HSE standards.
  • Coordinate with package management to ensure proper staffing levels and skill sets for all project phases.
  • Manage onboarding processes, including orientation, documentation, and compliance training for new hires.
  • Monitor and address personnel relations issues to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of personnel data, contracts, and HR metrics.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare regular reports on HR performance metrics such as staffing levels, training completion, and compliance.
  • Support collaboration with local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to labour laws and regulations.
  • Organize and facilitate training programs to enhance workforce skills and competencies.
  • Coordinate personnel visa application processes and support/monitor entities involved (TAS agents and affiliates) for timely obtaining of visas.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Ensure effective HR coordination to support the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of Pioneer Camp activities.
  • Maintain alignment of HR practices with company policies, labour laws, and H3SE standards.
  • Provide accurate and timely HR reports to facilitate decision-making by the Package Manager.
  • Address and resolve HR-related challenges proactively to ensure an effective workforce.
Specific Project Details

The EIW NWP HR Coordinator will play a vital role in managing HR activities to support the successful execution of EIW and NWP components. The environment involves coordination with diverse teams, requiring strong interpersonal and organizational skills. High H3SE standards must be maintained in all HR processes and activities.

CANDIDATE PROFILE / QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Experience
  • Minimum 6 years in HR roles, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or Oil and Gas projects.
  • At least 3 years coordinating HR activities in a multicultural project environment.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in HR management systems and tools.
  • Familiarity with training and development methodologies.
Level / Diploma
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Languages
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
