Job description

HR Commercial Business Partner – Sales & Marketing

Salary - up to 20,000 AED plus family schooling contribution, tickets/medical, based in RAK.

Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer with offices throughout the MENA region. They are creating a new HR Business Partner position for the Sales and Marketing department. This is an exciting role as you will be part of a new initiative and responsible for establishing processes and systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing HR for 75 to 100 staff across UAE, Pakistan, Egypt, KSA (yet to join), Turkey, Africa, and India, requiring significant travel and flexibility. Candidates must have a valid passport for easy visa access.
  2. Reporting to the HR Director and based in RAK. During the first 6 months, the candidate must work on-site to learn the business; afterward, 1-2 days per week in Dubai is possible.
  3. Handling HR management for entire business entities on a regional scale.
  4. Overseeing payroll for different countries and their respective staff.
  5. Implementing HR policies and procedures, especially in regions where HR is newly established.
  6. Ensuring compliance with local labour laws.
  7. Anticipating country-specific issues such as economic and political changes affecting HR and operations, including salary inflation, civil unrest, and staff safety.
  8. Having a strong background in one of the following HR areas: Compensation & Benefits, Training & Development, or Recruitment.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of managerial HR experience managing an entire business entity.
  • Preferably from a commercial environment, not manufacturing.
  • Willing to work in RAK and travel at least 3 times per month.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and implementing HR processes across regions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present ideas, engage employees, and manage change diplomatically.
