The Company : Major Multinational Healthcare Organization

Job Summary : This role involves providing consultation to management on strategic sourcing plans, talent counselling, rewards, talent development, and budget planning.

Other responsibilities include :

  • Attract, retain, and achieve a high level of performance from the highest caliber of talent available.
  • Designing and developing HR Strategy, budgets, workforce planning, policies and procedures, applying company policies, and managing internal HR systems.
  • Coaching senior executives.
  • Implementing functional HRMS and internal databases across all departments and locations.
  • Overseeing our payroll and performance evaluation systems.

The overall goal of this role is to ensure the HR department operates efficiently and aligns with the company business objectives.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Makes organization-wide strategy decisions and develops and implements policies, processes, and programs that ensure appropriate human resource practices.
  • Formally reviews and makes independent decisions on all staffing and resourcing issues relating to the portfolio of services under their command.
  • Budget development for all HR-related services, including organization-wide staffing costs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

Strategic Development :

  • Review and contribute to Company Group strategic plans by providing advice and recommendations to Heads of Department and C-Suite members.
  • Work closely with Heads of Department, C-Suite members, HR Business Partners, and Shared Services to support a forward-facing HR Strategy for Company Group.
  • Develop and monitor HR Organization’s business plan in line with the long-term strategy.
  • Establish HR KPIs and Organization scorecard.
  • Develop an HR Business continuity plan to ensure smooth delivery of HR services at all times.
  • Translate Group plans into plans for the HR Department and guide the execution.

Leadership and Management :

  • Measure the effectiveness of Company Group benefits programs and recommend improvements.
  • Drive the change agenda of Company group related to people and HR processes.
  • Communicate HR Business continuity plan and HR policies and procedures to the HR Organization team.

Policies, Procedures, and Processes :

  • Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are aligned with the Company strategy.
  • Lead the HR programs, initiatives, and policies with HR Leaders and Business Partners.
  • Direct the design and development of, and closely monitor the implementation of HR programs, initiatives, and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures as per local regulations.

People Management :

  • Plan, manage, and review individual performance and provide regular feedback, development, and coaching.
  • Establish clear direction, prioritize programs, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of the HR Organization.
  • Build opportunities for HR Organization employees to suggest, participate in, and contribute to improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing initiatives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  • BSc in Human Resources Management or similar.
  • Professional Coach Certification.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive career experience, including 6 to 8 years of management experience.
  • Work experience as a Head of HR or similar role with solid full-fledged HR life cycle experience.
