Description

The HR Assistant is a hands-on role that provides HR support on site. The role is critical in executing people initiatives, providing great internal employee support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. They provide answers to questions regarding a broad range of human resources, benefits, and payroll topics and engagement. They manage cases, projects, and partner relationships with varying degrees of complexity. They adhere to strict confidentiality standards. Work is performed within Service Levels.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Responds quickly and accurately to employees' queries.
  2. Ensures that employee documentation is complete and accurate.
  3. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for on site people issues, escalates as appropriate.
  4. Is the primary owner responsible for supporting managers through attendance tracking.
  5. Partners with payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll inputs.
  6. Provides training and guidance on policies, processes, and systems to customers and team members.
  7. Creates and distributes standard communications and HR reports.
  8. Performs necessary deep dives on issues.
  9. Leads process improvement initiatives.
  10. Develops suggestions for improvements to maximize value of resources.
  11. Performs project tasks as directed.
  12. Manages overall employee engagement programs.
Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ months of human resources experience
  • 6+ months of customer service experience
  • 6+ months of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Experience in confidential environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of human resources experience
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
