Job summary

A leading engineering and consultancy company based in Dubai is seeking an HR Assistant to support the HR and Admin department. The role involves managing employee records, assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, and providing first-level support to employees. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and have a thorough understanding of UAE HR laws and practices.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in HR Administration, preferably in the UAE.
  • Understanding of UAE Law and HR best practices.
  • Prior experience with UAE government/immigration portals.

HR Assistant

Missions/Main Duties

To provide administrative and operational support to HR and Admin department by ensuring smooth execution of daily HR/Admin/PR functions.

The Key Responsibilities Include

  • Prepare and issue employment contracts in line with company policies
  • Assist in the issuance of employment letters, salary certificates, and other employee related documents.
  • Support the onboarding process by preparing documentation and coordinating orientation activities.
  • Maintain and update employee records in both digital and physical formats ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide first level support to employees on HR related queries including policies, benefits and procedures.
  • Support in managing employee leave records, approvals and balances.
  • Ensure HR databases and systems are regularly updated and accurate.
  • Handle and organize documentation related to visa processing and immigration services.
  • Assist with the offboarding and exit clearance process, including collection of assets and processing final settlements.

Profile/Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business administration or any related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in HR Administration, preferably in the UAE.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of UAE Law and HR best practices.
  • Prior experience or familiarity with UAE government/immigrations portals (DM/MOHRE/GDRFA/DC/AMER etc).
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS office and HRIS systems
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
