This position serves as the point of contact for clients, communicating with them via phone and email to respond to questions and requests. Responsibilities include entering and retrieving information from computer databases, updating records, managing reservations, and answering guest inquiries. The role involves operating standard office equipment, preparing various documents using word processing, spreadsheets, databases, or presentation software, and transmitting information via email or fax, ensuring accuracy through proofreading and editing. Additionally, the employee will locate work-related information using computers or point of sale systems.
Adherence to all company policies and procedures is essential, including maintaining a professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets. The role also requires welcoming and acknowledging guests, anticipating and addressing service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation to guests. Effective communication using clear and professional language, preparing and reviewing documents, and proper telephone etiquette are important. Building positive relationships with colleagues and departments, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to concerns are also key responsibilities. The employee must report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management. Physical tasks include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors.
