Job description

The HPC Sales Development Specialist will play a critical role in driving the company’s growth by focusing on the sales of high-performance computing (HPC) systems. This role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of PC specifications. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of PC requirements for Deep Learning AI, Rendering, 3D animation, and similar applications, along with 3-5 years of overall experience in sales.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management :
  2. Advocate and consult customers for HPC systems and their applications in Deep Learning AI, Rendering, and 3D animation.
  3. Generate leads and research prospects for new customer acquisition.
  4. Visit potential new customers to present proposal offers and close deals.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide effective solutions.

Sales and Business Development Strategy :

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive business growth.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and sales expansion initiatives.
  3. Create and execute plans for acquiring new customers and expanding business with existing customers.

Sales Goals and Performance :

  1. Meet personal sales targets and assist the sales team in achieving their goals.
  2. Prepare and send quotes and proposals to prospective clients.
  3. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure goals are met.

Sales Process Optimization :

  1. Oversee the sales process from start to finish, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  2. Utilize CRM and sales software to manage customer interactions and track sales activities.
  3. Continuously improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Product Knowledge and Customization :

  1. Leverage your knowledge of HPC systems to assist customers in selecting and customizing solutions.
  2. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in HPC hardware and software.
  3. Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding HPC builds and configurations.

Requirements :

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Basic understanding of PC requirements for Deep Learning AI, Rendering, 3D animation, and similar applications is a must.

Experience :

  1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales development role, with at least 2 years focused on selling computers.
  2. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing a successful sales pipeline.
  3. Experience in the HPC market is highly desirable.

Skills :

  1. Fluent in English, with proficiency in another language being an advantage.
  2. Strong understanding of HPC systems and their applications.
  3. Excellent customer service, sales, and negotiation skills.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs.
  6. Up-to-date knowledge of HPC equipment and industry trends.
  7. Strong networking skills with an established contacts network.
  8. Outgoing, enthusiastic, and extroverted personality.
  9. Ability to work independently and proactively seek out new business opportunities.
  10. Valid UAE driving license.
