Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Dedicated Technical Consultant to deliver high-end HPC solutions on site at a key account in UAE (Abu Dhabi). Responsibilities include supporting the pre-sales team, troubleshooting HPC hardware and software, maintaining customer relationships, and staying current with Cray Ex Liquid cooled systems and NVL72 training.

Bachelor degree in CS/Engineering, 3–4 years HPC or storage, and Linux/Unix expertise are required; relocation to UAE

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company’s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organization’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.

• Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. • Responsibilities:
• In this amazing role you will cover the support and delivery of high-end HPC solutions for our customers. You’ll be part of a team of HPC experts and will be working under minimal supervision.
• Apply your technical background and knowledge of industry trends to Support and Deliver for the account HPC services,
• including both hardware and software, for massively parallel (MPP) supercomputer systems, clusters and storage systems on a 24 X 7 Basis and willing to be on standby and available when needed.
• Support the pre-sales team in scoping & sizing the HPC services when required.
• You will be dedicated to a key account managing Day to Day HPC Support and Maintenance activity as the dedicated account site in UAE-Abu Dhabi.
• Analyze, qualify, troubleshoot, resolve the incidents with the right level of autonomy & expertise and coordinate with L2 and L3.
• Support issues requiring specialized intervention.
• Collaborate with team members, other internal organizations, customers, and third parties (e.g. DDN, Red Hat, Cool IT, Nvidia,…)
• Manage the customer relationship, including verbal & written communication.
• Research HPC documentation & complete required training to maintain and develop HPC skills.
• Must be willing learn new technologies in HPC including Cray EX Liquid cooled systems and NVL72 as the core technologies to support which will be provided on the job and professional training.

• Must be an with at least three (4) years of service.
• Must hold a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Knowledge in High Performance Computing technologies and/or enterprise level storage systems, and/or High Performance Computing Application, depending on the intended activities or role.
• Experience in Linux/Unix Operating systems.
• Experience with HPC Hardware Support or related industries is advantageous.
• Experienced in running the day to day operation, hardware break fix and administration of HPC systems at the client site
• Act as an advocate for the Customer and their teams is an advantage.
• Advanced skills in customer service and customer facing communication
• Willing to relocate to the United Arab Emirates.
