Job description

The Housekeeping Trainer is responsible for training and supervising housekeeping staff in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings. This role requires expertise in housekeeping practices, safety standards, and training techniques. The Housekeeping Trainer is responsible for developing training materials, conducting hands-on training sessions, and evaluating the performance of housekeeping staff.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and update housekeeping training materials and manuals.
  2. Conduct orientation sessions for new housekeeping staff.
  3. Train housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
  5. Provide ongoing training and refresher courses to improve staff skills.
  6. Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  7. Collaborate with management to identify training needs and priorities.
  8. Stay updated with current trends and best practices in housekeeping.

Minimum Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience as a housekeeping supervisor or trainer.
  3. Strong knowledge of housekeeping practices and safety standards.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to convey information effectively and engage trainees.
