Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic guest-focused Housekeeping professionals who pride themselves on delivering extraordinary levels of customer service and providing creative solutions to our guests.

Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the team of Housekeeping Attendants to achieve operational objectives while ensuring that the standards of cleanliness and maintenance meet hotel requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing Housekeeping Attendants' job assignments
  2. Issuing keys and supplies to Housekeeping Attendants
  3. Monitoring VIPs, Do Not Disturb, Sleep Out, Double-Lock Rooms, and taking appropriate action
  4. Attending daily meetings and receiving special instructions
  5. Checking out rooms before reporting them as vacant
  6. Handling special guest requests
  7. Inspecting cleaned areas using checklists to ensure standards are met and reporting repairs
  8. Filling out reports and handing over found articles to the lost and found department
  9. Supervising cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and stairwells
  10. Training and assisting Housekeeping Attendants and advising superiors on performance
  11. Assisting with inventory management and maintenance of housekeeping equipment
Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experiences

Ideally, candidates should have a hospitality diploma or vocational training with previous minor supervisory experience in a hotel Housekeeping Department. Good command of written and spoken English, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential. Computer literacy and experience with Opera are advantageous.
