Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Attendant to clean guest rooms, replenish amenities, and uphold hotel standards. You will inspect units for cleanliness before occupancy and coordinate with Front Office.

This role requires 1–2 years of experience in hotels or holiday accommodations, a high school diploma, and UAE residency ready for immediate joining. The position is full-time on-site, with duties including restocking carts and safe handling of equipment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hands-on housekeeping experience in hotels, hotel apartments, or holiday home management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, bathrooms, and high-touch surfaces daily according to hotel standards.
• Replenishing guest room amenities, linens, towels, and toiletries promptly.
• Inspecting rooms for inventory gaps, defects, or cleanliness oversights before occupancy.
• Report maintenance faults or damages to engineering/front desk teams.
• Log and hand over lost-and-found items per security protocol.
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely to prevent hazards.
• Update room cleaning progress with Front Office and Housekeeping supervisors.
• Keep carts, linen closets and storage organized and stocked.

Job description

• Cleaning and sanitizing assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and high-touch surfaces daily in strict accordance with hotel operating standards.

• Replenishing guest room amenities, fresh linens, towels, and toiletries promptly to ensure each unit meets arrival checklists.

• Inspecting cleaned units for missing inventory, defects, or cleanliness oversights before marking them ready for occupancy.

• Reporting maintenance faults, electrical/plumbing issues, or physical damages instantly to the maintenance and front desk teams.

• Logging and handing over all lost-and-found guest items immediately, adhering to company security protocols.

• Handling cleaning equipment, vacuum cleaners, and sanitation chemicals safely and responsibly to avoid property damage or safety hazards.

• Updating room cleaning progress and turn-down statuses in coordination with the Front Office and Housekeeping Supervisor.

• Maintaining housekeeping carts, linen closets, and supply storage rooms in a tidy, fully stocked, and organized order at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum high school completion or secondary school certificate.

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience as a Housekeeping Attendant in hotels, hotel apartments, or holiday home management.

• Candidate must currently reside in the UAE with valid documentation and be ready to join immediately.
